Mariebelle Chocolates

Artistically beautiful chocolates, both taste and look wise, and delicious hot chocolate too

A gem in SoHo NYC, MarieBelle New York creates luxurious chocolates, each of which is an “edible work of art” – check out the often whimsical, retro prints on their ganache pieces that tell the story of the chocolate. You’ve got to see them to appreciate them but here are some examples: the “Le Baiser” (The Kiss) ganache containing passion fruit puree has a picture of a couple kissing, the “Safari” caipirinha infused ganache has a picture of a lady and her dog companion in a safari jeep, and the “Happiness” ginger infused ganache has a picture of people dancing to music. Besides these fun little pieces of luxury, MarieBelle has a delectable selection of hot chocolate flavors. Their Aztec Hot Chocolate was named one of Oprah’s favorite things in 2002. The selection now includes Maya Hot Chocolate, Mestizo Hot Chocolate, Matcha Hot Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Hazelnut, and more. They are designed to be made either with hot water (European style) or with hot milk (American style). Oprah called them “divinely decadent”.
