Vosges Chocolates

Luxuriously decadent, uniquely flavored chocolates that bring together ingredients from around the world

Vosges is one of our favorite chocolatiers to shop for gifts because of their unusual flavor combinations bringing together ingredients from different parts of the world, and their impeccable presentation. Take for example the following truffles from their Exotic Truffles Collection:

Absinthe: Kübler absinthe + Chinese star anise + fennel + 62% cacao dark chocolate + Sri Lankan coconut ash

Rap: horseradish + lemon zest + I.G.P. Piemonte hazelnuts + Ghana cocoa nibs + 62% cacao dark chocolate

Sveta Sofia: Bulgarian rose water + pistachio paste + 45% cacao dark milk chocolate + dried rose bud tea + Bronte pistachio

Vosges does amazing seasonal items and Easter is a particularly fun time to browse their collection, which includes Enchanted Toadstools filled with dark chocolate Piemonte hazelnut and Reishi mushroom ganache, Barcelona Bunnies with sea salt and smoked almonds, and caramel filled Easter eggs. Another item that we covet is their limited edition Volcano Island Honey Truffles which have been particularly hard to find lately (usually comes out in spring around Mother’s Day).

Available year round and easier to transport and store are their chocolate bars, and again, Vosges has some exotic ones. Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Bar with bits of hickory smoked uncured bacon is a perennial favorite. A healthier counterpart is the Matcha Green Tea & Spirulina Super Dark Chocolate Bar. Other regular favorites are the excellent and decadent I.G.P. Piemonte Hazelnut Praline Bonbons and Organic Peanut Butter Bonbons.
